I build softwareand start too manyside projects.

It started at 12 with Dreamweaver. I dragged images onto a page and published some truly ugly websites, until I noticed there was code behind them. I taught myself HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript, and never really stopped.

Dozens of unfinished projects later, I was publishing on Altervista: a personal site full of Facebook tips and tricks, a web radio, a few small sites made for fun. My first big one was SimPulse, a management system for accommodation facilities.

At home I add “smart” devices to everything. Most turn out to be useless; a few probably are too, and I haven’t noticed. It all runs on Home Assistant, a Raspberry Pi and a lot of Shellies.

I hold a double master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and the University of Illinois at Chicago, and I work as a Software Engineer at Uber.
