I first got into the world of IT when I was 12 years old. I started with Dreamweaver… I would drag images into the program and create very ugly web pages. When I discovered that there was actually code behind those images, a new world opened up for me. I started studying, as a self-taught, HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. In addition to dozens of projects started and never completed, I began publishing my first websites on Altervista. From my personal website, where I published articles and tricks for Facebook, to my web radio. I developed some small websites for fun. But my first truly big project was SimPulse, a management software for accommodation facilities. In my free time, I enjoy adding "smart" devices to my home. Most of the time I realize how useless these devices are, but sometimes I manage not to realize it (even though they actually are). I use Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi and many, many Shellies. I have a double master's degree in Data Science and Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino and the University of Illinois at Chicago, and I work at Uber as a Software Engineer.
